About Qui Vive

Qui Vive CO2 Sensor is a USB type CO2 gas sensor. The built-in infrared gas detection technology has the characteristics of fast response speed and accuracy. Bluetooth signal transmission can communicate with mobile devices, and can record CO2 values to observe changes in environmental concentrations. The USB power supply design allows users to detect CO2 concentration in a variety of occasions, including office/classroom/bedroom/ vehicle applications and so on.

Alarm function

Qui Vive comes with 3 modes of usage and alert set-points for different environmental conditions.

Indoor Air Quality Mode : below 1100 ppm Good / 1100 - 1500 ppm Poor / above 1500 ppm Unhealthy
Vehicle Cabin Mode        : below 1500 ppm Good / 1500 - 2500 ppm Poor / above 2500 ppm Unhealthy
Safety Pre-Alarm Mode  : below 1100 ppm Good / 1100 - 8000 ppm Poor / above 8000 ppm Unhealthy

A visual light colour change and an audio alert will sound when the readings exceed the set point.

improve quality

Staying in an environment with high concentrations of carbon dioxide for a long time can cause people to have trouble breathing, lethargy, drowsiness, headache, and poor reflexes. Poor indoor air circulation which is more likely to cause the spread of respiratory infectious diseases.

Turning on ventilation before carbon dioxide concentration builds up can improve environmental quality and ensure driving safety.
